The history of Polocrosse
We are lucky in Victoria to have so many people who are so passionate about our sport, and keeping the history alive.
We welcome anyone who has any results, pictures and videos from the past and will happily share on your behalf.
A big thank you to Mark Semmens who has been extremely active in posting results and videos through Facebook and Youtube. Go on over, Like his page and subscribe to his Youtube channel to stay updated.
Joe McInally is also a brilliant supporter of Polocrosse Live Streaming many events. Follow his Youtube channel and on Facebook. He has live streamed many tournaments including:
- Australia vs New Zealand vs Victoria in a friendly world cup warm up held at Ballarat
- Australian World Cup selection tournament held at Albury
- Many Queensland tournaments.
- Plus more, including other sports like Polo
There is a few other ways to watch and Youtube channels to subscribe too to check out a vast variety of games for our sport:
Adina Polocrosse World Cup and Barastoc 2019.
Polocrosse Western Australia for the 2018 Perth Nationals.
Polocrosse World Cup – hosted by South Africa in 2015, thanks to the UK Polocrosse Association.
Another treasure which has come our of Covid-19 isolation is a podcast called Chukka Chat with Ryan Murphy. Ryan is an American player, coach and author who has so far interviewed Simon Shearing (UK), Lauren (Watson) Summers (Zambia) and Brett Pryor (NSW). Listen to him via Apple, Spotify or visit his website here.
