2.
From the 1 January 2019 all Junior (U/16) will be required to wear either a Faceguard or Mouthguard. This rule has been updated in the Rule Book.
The previous ruling from Polocrosse Australia regarding the same rule applying to Seniors from 2020 has been revoked, however Seniors are strongly encouraged to use either a Faceguard or mouth guard for their own safety.
3. Presidents report from Nationals
Hello everyone,
I hope all those that made the journey to Perth have made it home safe and sound and are now settled back into “normal” lives again!
I just thought I would send a quick note to thank you all for representing our state at Nationals in the highest possible way. Our on field and off field behaviour was excellent and because of our conduct, sportsmanship and dedication our on field success was the best the state has achieved for years. I can assure you it did not go unnoticed.
I sincerely want to thank all involved from coaches, managers, players, parents, grandparents, support crew and our loyal supporters. A massive massive thank you. I am thrilled to be part of the Polocrosse Victoria journey.
Now we move onto the next Nationals in our own backyard in 2020. We must build on our Perth success and be even better at home. I am confident we can achieve great things if we stick together, stay focused on the positives and the ultimate goal.
Well done Victoria.
Go Vics.
Mick
